No Noise at Selfridges

Selfridges debranded bag

Today Selfridges unveiled its ‘No Noise’ concept in its Oxford Street, London store. Created to encourage a momentary escape from the noise of modern living, this concept offers not only iconic products that have ‘debranded’ exclusively for Selfridges, it also offers a Silence Room which is a contemporary re-working of the original ‘Peace Room’ installed by Mr Harry Gordon Selfridge.

My favourite element is the quiet shop, which houses the edit of minimalist fashion as well the exclusive collector’s items. Most notably, Selfirdges have themselves ‘debranded’ their iconic yellow carrier bag.

I am a huge fan of minimalism, and living in New York begs for a quiet afternoon, wish I were in London to enjoy!
