Lipstick Love

I’m a bit of a lipstick addict, but find it hard to discover a great nude. 2 of my favourite nudes are from Givenchy, Rouge Interdit in Enchanted Beige 58 and Rouge Interdit Shine in Enchanted Pinkish Beige 30, which are both part of the limited edition Contes de Noel collection for Christmas 2012.

These are both really wearable nude shades, part of the same family but with a lightly different finish. My favourite texture by far is the Rouge Interdit lipstick, over and above the ‘Shine’ variety. The product goes on really easily, with a smooth, satin finish. the lipstick is creamy and keeps lips hydrated, and maintains the colour (althgouhg this is not by any means a long lasting lipstick). Shade 58 is a warm, slightly dark beige, really easy to wear and works well with my olive skin.

Rouge Interdit Shine, as the name suggests has a glossier, shinier finish but the texture is a little too grainy for my liking, and you need lips that are in great condition.

Both are beautifully presented, with a luxurious feel and a ribbon at the end with the signature ‘GG’ emblem which certainly makes it a chic addition to any handbag.

You can still them at Sephora, available here.

Have you tried the range yet?
