Ice Skating at the Natural History Museum

Now, Christmas isn’t my favourite time of year, but I do love some of the festive elements that the season brings and Ice Skating most definitely has to be one of them. I managed to persuade the boy to come with me, and we went to the Natural History Museum for a skate off!

The boy hasn’t skated since he was 6, and I am very much a novice, but despite this, we had a wonderful time trying not to fall over. The day was beautifully clear and sunny, and the Natural History Museum makes for a glorious backdrop. Add in a carousel, candyfloss, hot dogs and mulled and you pretty much have a perfect afternoon for me.

Have you been skating yet?
