A couple of nights ago, I was lucky enough to be invited down to the launch of a new restaurant in Chiswick, called Brickoven Milano. It’s already a well known name in Italy, with 5 restaurants in Milan, the Chiswick branch is the first UK opening.
It’s a big venue, with striking black and white floors, but the emphasis is all on the food. It’s a family owned business which started in 1997 but the founder, Marco Montorfano lives in Chiswick, which is lucky for London residents!
We were treated to a multitude of delicious canapes, finger food and of course, Pizza! Every time we thought we had tried it all, there was a new assortment of delicious delicate Italian meats, cheeses, and the best part is that Brickoven specialises in alternative options for those with food intolerances eg dairy free, gluten free etc. There’s also a kids area so it’s a great place for families.
It was a super fun night, and I had a suitable Prosecco induced headache the next day!
It’s now open at 66 Chiswick High Street
